Is Music Therapy? 
In my case it is. It is a gateway into my soul. Good, bad days or happy and sad moods, there is music “composed to fit”. It can help autistic children express themselves in ways they cannot do without the aid of rhythm and music. Country Music Lyrics, Gospel music, rock and Indian music are just a few types of popular music that can ignite your inner being.
Without effort, some folks have the natural knack of memorizing music, while others enjoy the beat and rhythm. You can find a darkened room and get into a relaxing mood by listening to your favorite song titles. It can be uplifting and therapeutic. It is the key to countless human emotions.
Not all Music is Created Equal.
For example music that is derived from the heart has proven to capture larger audiences repeatedly. People seem to get more pleasure from the emotions that go into a song compared to songs that are composed without the heart in mind.
At times I find myself at the corner pub acting out my fantasy of a rock star. Connecting myself to karaoke tracks puts me into a different mindset. In the moments of my stardom all my worries, anxieties and concerns disappear. I am in the spot-light–a rock and roll star. There is no feeling like it. Eventually reality sets in and I am back to planet earth, realizing that I am not really Gene Simmons in the “Detroit Rock City” :-).
Security Risks of File Sharing
Limewire and Kaaza used to be the most popular musical download sites online. Today there are many other websites that you can get your favorite songs from with less security risk. Legal download sites are not based on peer to peer networking, where subscribers are permitted to use designated areas of other subscriber’s computers. File sharing and peer to peer networking have proven to be a major source of getting viruses, spyware, Trojan horses and worms. These infections can effect both PC’s and Mac’s, although PC’s are mainly effected using the windows operating systems. The next time you see free music with an option to download, think twice. Is the music file really what you think it is? A way to double check your downloaded file is to save it first before opening it. Then point your anti virus software at it to check.
Get Down with Internet Radio 
Free internet radio is an easy and popular way of dialing in your musical preference of choice. I like the older rock and roll stuff so my favorite internet radio station is 977music.com it is a good station for older style rock. The ABCs of Music and You
Music is intertwined throughout our of our lives. Most of us have listened to music within the first day of birth. Learning with music has proven to be a helpful tool in the educational process. As children we learn how to sing our ABC’s and some of us go on to become accomplished musicians. I have discovered myself to be a auditory learner, consequently I have been able to expand my learning abilities and reach new heights and depths.
My specialty is online corporate entertainment and theming it with music that is fun. With an ear for fittting music, making productions are more engaging when the music background is perceived as fun.
For my own music therapy I have prepared a list of, well, mostly male, testosterone boosting music. It is a library that I have built up over the years. Feel free to listen to any of these musical categories.
